Columba College students wear their school uniform with pride. With its distinctive Black Watch tartan and dark green blazer trimmed with navy blue and green braid and school crest embroidered on the blazer pocket, it instills a sense of unity and belonging and an awareness of the College’s traditions.
Students are expected to wear the school and sports uniforms correctly, to comply with the College’s uniform standards and dress codes at all times and to maintain a high standard of appearance and grooming.

The Uniform Exchange is located in the School Office and is open at set times throughout the year and on request (details available from the School Office).
It sells second-hand items of school and sports uniform that are in good condition. Parents are able to sell school and sports uniform through the Uniform Exchange provided it is in good condition.
Arthur Barnett Ltd. in Dunedin stocks the Columba College school uniform in its Uniform Department.
Tudor Clothing, 97 Filleul Street, Dunedin is the maker of the school blazer, winter and summer kilts, and Junior School pinafore. It also supplies a number of other items of school and sports uniform, and through its associated business, Monogram House, does the embroidery on our uniform items.
The Black Watch winter kilts are made by Tudor Clothing and orders are supplied direct to parents.
Annual fittings for the winter kilt are arranged at school early in Term One, or parents may contact Tudor Clothing direct.
