Parents of girls qualifying for a Government Boarding Bursary (i.e., those whose homes are more than 4.8km from a conveyance route to a state school) receive $2,725 per annum. Applications close on 31st March of the year for which application is made and are dealt with through the School Office in February of that year.
For students eligible for Boarding Bursaries the combined cost of travel at the beginning and end of term in excess of $10 will be refunded. The amount payable will be based on public transport fares where this form of travel is available.
(Years 12 and 13)
These are Bursaries for Years 12 and 13 girls who wish to study at least two subjects or more not provided by their local high school. If they are obliged to live away from home to attend a suitable school, and are in Years 12 and 13, students may receive a Bursary to the value of $2,725
per annum. Applications close on 31st March of the year for which application is made and are dealt with through the School Office in February of each year.
Boarding and Secondary School Bursaries are not co-tenable.
