Today we celebrated the Constance Hall and COGA Centennial, hosting The Mayor, Jules Radich, the Moderator of PCANZ the Right Rev Rose Luxford, Old Girls & Boys and friends of the College. Guests enjoyed tours of the campus, ending in Constance Hall for a service that celebrated and past and looked to the future. It has been a wonderful day, filled with connecting, reflection and community spirit. We will share more detailed highlights in next week’s newsletter.
Our Junior School students have had a fantastic time participating in Walk n Wheel week, promoting healthy and active lifestyles. It was fabulous to see so many students walking, scootering, and cycling to school. The highlight for me was the colourful and energetic Wacky Wednesday.
Thank you to everyone who so generously donated items for the chocolate wheel at our upcoming school fair, as part of yesterday’s Kākahu Kainga day. Your contributions are invaluable and will help make the fair a huge success. If you are using this weekend for a clear out at home, feel free to bring any donations for resale on Sunday or Monday (as per later article).
All the best to our students competing in Summer sports next week, representing our college across a wide range of sports around the country.
Thank you for your patience with us as we navigate a period of teacher absence. The students and staff are always front of mind in any decision making, and we appreciate your understanding. Illness is sweeping the city and unfortunately we have not escaped it.
Take a moment to rest this long weekend. With it being an 11 week term, we have to pace ourselves so we can get to the end.
